Studebaker <br />Mr. Hunt noted for the record that Ernest Reed <br />is a City employee but no conflict of interest <br />exists because Mr. Reed does not work for the <br />Department of Redevelopment. <br />Mr. Hunt noted that Jurtin Construction was <br />the second lowest bidder. B &C Construction <br />was the lowest bidder, but is presently at <br />ca city with other Bureau of Housing rehabs. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the <br />Comrdssion. approved a bid and loan in <br />co ection with the Rental Rehab Loan Program <br />as listed above. <br />d. C ssion approval requested for Resolution <br />No. 770 accepting a counteroffer for sale of <br />in the South <br />Mr. Hunt explained that Resolution No. 770 <br />deals with the purchase of vacant property <br />10CELted within the Covelski Stadium project <br />area. The original offer to purchase was <br />$125.00. The owner has counteroffered at <br />$150.00, a difference of $25.00. The owner of <br />the property is Sweet Home Baptist Church. It <br />is the staff recndation that the <br />counteroffer be accepted. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Combs, seconded by <br />Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, the <br />Co ssion approved Resolution No. 770 <br />acc pting a counteroffer for sale of real <br />property in the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. <br />e.
