He said they <br />have explored the possibility of some very <br />ique vehicles. He said they are considering <br />a delivery service between approximately <br />13-2:00 p.m. He stated that their plans are <br />t ntative depending upon the demand in the <br />. Nimtz asked if they are presently doing <br />tering in the South Bend area. <br />. Janda stated that they are, and they <br />esently go on consignment using the kitchen <br />Marci's Deli. They don't have an operating <br />tchen in South Bend at this time and are <br />oking for a location for a kitchen. Mr. <br />nda stated that if successful they would use <br />e L. Keen building kitchen for business <br />tering needs in the area to provide a <br />mited selection. <br />Janda stated their start date would begin <br />ediately, if the successful bidder, on <br />paration of bid specifications with start <br />construction begining within six to seven <br />ths. Mr. Janda said their proposed name of <br />deli would be Max's Deli. <br />. Nigel Hawman, a resident of Monroe Park, <br />stated that with the upcoming proposed <br />d velopment,of the L. Keen building and the <br />Burger Dairy store, the neighbors would hope <br />at in the combination of the two proposed <br />developments that the real needs of the <br />neighborhood are addressed. What they really <br />nt is a grocery store. The neighbors would <br />hope that the successful bidder on the L. Keen <br />building would consider selling the additional <br />f od needs of the neighborhood. <br />. Kolata stated that Ms. Pam Meyer of the <br />munity Development staff was asked to go to <br />Monroe Park residents and ask their <br />ughts on a beer /wine license in the area. <br />Commission received a letter in response <br />that poll which Mrs. Kolata read into the <br />-8- <br />
