Nimtz noted that if Colonial Food Services <br />is successful, Karl King Tower residents are <br />v ry interested in them considering selling <br />milk, bread, meat, and other items that they <br />w uld be interested in buying. <br />Janda stated that they were considering <br />fling those items. What they are planning <br />an old shop deli but it would be a <br />rnvenience store, making some essential foods <br />ailable. <br />s. Kolata stated that Colonial Food Service <br />eypected to spend $259,200 in the renovation <br />of the building and approximately another <br />$175,000 in terms of equipment inside the <br />building. Mr. Janda stated that they would be <br />a plying for tax abatement. <br />. Way asked how much Colonial would <br />ticiTDate for kitchen facilities. <br />Janda stated that they are looking at two <br />ans. One plan is approximately one third of <br />first floor and another plan is <br />proximately one fourth of the first floor <br />ilizing part of the building in the back. <br />. Piasecki asked what the hours of operation <br />ald be. <br />Janda stated that the hours would be <br />flexible depending on the desire of the <br />comunity. They anticipate opening with the <br />deli type concept and working in breakfast <br />service. They would do a study on those hours <br />and as long as they have the need they will be <br />open. Right now they would anticipate being <br />open six days a week. If there is a need they <br />will open seven days a week. They anticipate <br />on the outside 18 -24 months for a completion <br />dalte. <br />. Wrobel asked if they considered any <br />=cial service conveniences for Karl King <br />-7- <br />
