South Bend edevelopment Commission <br />Regular Mee ing - January 11, 1985 <br />6. NEW BUSZESS (Cont.) <br />d. Cormission approval requested for a contract <br />for consulting services with Nicholas C. <br />Jannotta and Associates. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that the Commission <br />pre iously had a market analysis of the East <br />BankDevelopment Area performed by Nicholas C. <br />Janrotta. and Associates. As a result of that <br />analysis, Nicholas C. Jannotta and Associates . <br />will be asked to provide future services in <br />reviewing and evaluating proposals from the <br />financial standpoint relating to the East Bank <br />Development Area. This contract would also <br />all w Jannotta and Associates to perform some <br />analysis work on current studies relating to <br />the existing Redevelopment areas. The rate of <br />pay is on an hourly basis depending upon who <br />in he firm will be performing services. The <br />con ract is for one year and has a cap of <br />$10,000. <br />upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Combs, seconded by <br />Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, the <br />CormLission approved a contract for consulting <br />services with Nicholas C. Jannotta and <br />e. CormLission approval requested for Resolution <br />No. 727 approving an application for real <br />proEerty tax deduction. <br />Mrs Kolata explained that this resolution <br />deals with the property at the southeast <br />corner of Washington and Main Streets where <br />the Teachers Credit Union building will be <br />constructed. The property falls within the <br />Tax Incremental Financing Area so Commission <br />approval is requested prior to Council <br />consideration. The proposed building will <br />consist of approximately 74,000 square feet <br />and will be six (6) stories in height. The <br />main floor will be occupied by the primary <br />banking functions and members' services, and <br />will feature a central open atrium reaching up <br />to the third floor. The second floor will be <br />developed with loan functions, and other parts <br />of the banking business that deal with the <br />public. The third floor will accom-nodate the <br />-5- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED A <br />CONTRACT FOR CONSULTING <br />SERVICES WITH NICHOLAS C. <br />JANNOTTA AND ASSOCIATES <br />
