NEW BUS <br />b. corn <br />to <br />elopment Commisson <br />- January 11, 1985 <br />(Copt.) <br />1 requested for guidelines <br />eDair Program. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that there are two <br />charges to the Emergency Repair Program <br />guidelines. One change would be raising the <br />grart limit to $2,500. Mrs. Kolata explained <br />that the heating and roofing estimates have <br />beer. coming in far in excess of the present <br />$1,500 grant limit and this has eliminated <br />man people from the program. The second <br />charge will restrict the program to being <br />available only in the Neighborhood <br />Revitalization Area which is the Community <br />Dev lopment target area. <br />Ms. Janet Holston explained that the rationale <br />for restricting the program to the <br />Nei hborhood Revitalization Area is to give <br />the program more impact within the target <br />area. Ms. Holston will be keeping a list of <br />individuals that will be ineligible under the <br />new quidelines. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the <br />Connission approved guidelines for the <br />Emergency Repair Program. <br />c. Co scion a roval requested for a contract <br />for consulting services provided to the Bureau <br />of Housing. <br />Ms. Kolata explained that this is a contract <br />for consulting services provided to the Bureau <br />of Housing by Al Fout. The contract is <br />similar to previous contracts held with Mr. <br />Fout. Mr. Fout works on updating the Bureau <br />of Housing cost book. The contract is for one <br />ye , has a cap of $10,000, and Mr. Fout will <br />be aid at the rate of $7.98 per hour. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, the <br />Co mission approved a contract for consulting <br />services provided to the Bureau of Housing. <br />-4- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED <br />GUIDELINES FOR THE <br />EMERGENCY REPAIR PROGRAM <br />COMMISSION APPROVED A <br />CONTRACT FOR CONSULTING <br />SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE <br />BUREAU OF HOUSING <br />
