Mrs. Kolata explained that there are two charges to the Emergency Repair Program guidelines. One change would be raising the grart limit to $2,500. Mrs. Kolata explained that the heating and roofing estimates have beer. coming in far in excess of the present $1,500 grant limit and this has eliminated man people from the program. The second charge will restrict the program to being available only in the Neighborhood Revitalization Area which is the Community Dev lopment target area. Ms. Janet Holston explained that the rationale for restricting the program to the Nei hborhood Revitalization Area is to give the program more impact within the target area. Ms. Holston will be keeping a list of individuals that will be ineligible under the new quidelines. Upon a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the Connission approved guidelines for the Emergency Repair Program. c. Co scion a roval requested for a contract for consulting services provided to the Bureau of Housing. Ms. Kolata explained that this is a contract for consulting services provided to the Bureau of Housing by Al Fout. The contract is similar to previous contracts held with Mr. Fout. Mr. Fout works on updating the Bureau of Housing cost book. The contract is for one ye , has a cap of $10,000, and Mr. Fout will be aid at the rate of $7.98 per hour.
