NEW <br />a <br />h. <br />1. <br />end R--development <br />Commission <br />Meet'ng <br />- February 24, 1984 <br />BUSINESS <br />( font . ) <br />Cont'nued... <br />Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by M3. <br />Auburn and unanimously carried, <br />Resolution <br />No. 700 authorizing the Commission <br />to <br />tition the Portage Township Assessor for <br />reas <br />essment of the property in the East Bank <br />Allo <br />tion Area was approved. <br />Commission <br />approval requested for Resolution <br />No. <br />01 authorizing the Con fission to petition <br />the <br />Portage Township Assessor for reassessment <br />of pi <br />o rty in the Monroe Sample Development <br />Allocation <br />Area. <br />explained that this resolution <br />Ms. Schwartz <br />will <br />petition the Portage Township Assessor to <br />make <br />a reassessment of property within the <br />designated <br />allocation area. She stated that <br />this <br />is the first step to set in motion an <br />evaluation <br />by the Commission of the tax <br />incrEment <br />that has developed since the <br />designation <br />of this allocation area with a <br />view <br />for the Commission to be able to make a <br />decision <br />as to how they wish to use that <br />incrEment <br />for the benefit of this allocation <br />area <br />in the future. <br />Upon <br />a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Donaldson <br />and unanimously carried, <br />Resolution <br />No. 701 authorizing the Commission <br />to pEtition <br />the Portage Township Assessor for <br />reassessment <br />of the property in the Monroe <br />Sample <br />Development Area was approved. <br />Commission <br />approval requested for Resolution <br />No. 702 <br />authorizing the Commission to petition <br />the Portage <br />Township Assessor for reassessment <br />of <br />rty in the "Central Downtown Urban <br />Renewal <br />Amended Allocation Area No. l ". <br />Ms. S <br />hwartz explained that this resolution <br />will <br />petition the Portage Township Assessor to <br />make <br />3. reassessment of property within the <br />desigriated <br />allocation area.
