First of all the <br />Resolution is expanding the Area by about a <br />hall' of a block to include the building on the <br />corner of LaSalle and Michigan Streets. The <br />second change is that the Resolution would <br />expand the allocation area for tax incremental <br />financing to include all of the Redevelopment <br />area within the Central Downtown Urban Renewal <br />Area.. The third change is in the Design <br />Review Committee which will go along with the <br />charges previously approved for the Monroe <br />Sample and East Bank Development Areas. There <br />will be a core committee of five people to <br />which we will add two people from the downtown <br />to vote on those matters that relate only to <br />the downtown area. <br />Mr. <br />tax <br />a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />)onaldson and unanimously carried, <br />Lution No. 690 redeclaring the Central <br />gown Urban Renewal Area to be blighted, <br />-iding the boundaries of the area, <br />zding the allocation area for purposes of <br />Lncremental financing, making certain <br />3ions to the Design Review Con¢nittee and <br />)owing the Urban Renewal Plan and all <br />knents thereto was approved. <br />-5- <br />RESOLUTION NO. 690 REDE- <br />CLARING THE CENTRAL DOWNTOWN <br />URBAN RENEWAL AREA TO BE <br />BLIGHTED, EXPANDING THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF THE AREA, <br />EXPANDING THE ALLOCATION <br />AREA FOR PURPOSES OF TAX <br />INCREMENTAL FINANCING, <br />MAKING CERTAIN REVISIONS <br />TO THE DESIGN REVIEW COM- <br />MITTEE AND REAPPROVING THE <br />URBAN RENEWAL PLAN AND ALL <br />AMENDMENTS THERETO WAS- <br />APPROVED <br />
