Commission approval requested to enter into an <br />agreement for Professional Services with James <br />E. Childs and Associates, Inc. for the River - <br />end Plaza Enhancement Project. <br />Mr. Hunt stated that the contract we are asking <br />for approval would allow us to work with James <br />E. Childs and Associates to initiate the enhance- <br />ment program and could involve a number of pro- <br />jects ranging from the review and study of design <br />for partial or total enclosure of Riverbend Plaza, <br />and pedestrian skywalks, individual store fronts <br />for site improvements and interior rehabilitation. <br />Essentially the contract would allow James E. <br />Childs to provide technical assistance to the <br />l s aff as we move ahead on the enhancement pro- <br />am for Riverbend Plaza. <br />Ms. Schwartz said that the staff has met with <br />Mr. Childs prior to this meeting today to review <br />his proposed contract and he has adjusted most <br />of it in compliance with the discussion that we <br />had. There was a couple of items that he said <br />tie Commission could strike and initial if they <br />ih fact wanted to do so. <br />
