Commission approval requested to enter into an agreement for Professional Services with James E. Childs and Associates, Inc. for the River - end Plaza Enhancement Project. Mr. Hunt stated that the contract we are asking for approval would allow us to work with James E. Childs and Associates to initiate the enhance- ment program and could involve a number of pro- jects ranging from the review and study of design for partial or total enclosure of Riverbend Plaza, and pedestrian skywalks, individual store fronts for site improvements and interior rehabilitation. Essentially the contract would allow James E. Childs to provide technical assistance to the l s aff as we move ahead on the enhancement pro- am for Riverbend Plaza. Ms. Schwartz said that the staff has met with Mr. Childs prior to this meeting today to review his proposed contract and he has adjusted most of it in compliance with the discussion that we had.
