^uesday evening.....Sept. 8th, 1903, 7L15 P.M. <br />The Board met in special session in the office of the Board on the above date. <br />Present being Pres. McINerny, Messers Nicar, Papcaynski and City Engineer Hammond, also, <br />Walton F. Suchanek as Clerk.. <br />Hearings were given on the ksses�ment. Rolls, and Final.Estimates f6k,the Grade, <br />Curb and Walks on Allen street., Navarre street (Postponed from Tuesday eve. Sept.lst,:.1903) <br />High street and for walks on Pennsylvania avenue. <br />In the matter of the grade and curb on High street under improvement resolution <br />*.,1t07;,.: land the improvement of cement walks on Pennsylvania avenue under improvement <br />Resolution + 136. Several remonstrants appeared and objeeted`to the class of work done <br />and in one instance the price charged for same. The Board took the objections raised <br />under advisement and postponed hearing; on said resolutions until Wednesday A.M. Sept,9th, <br />1903.. <br />In the matter of the grade, curb and valk on Allen street under improvement <br />resolution # 134; also, the grade, curb and walk on Navarre street under improvement <br />resolution + 132. In the former the Board find that the property described in said roll <br />for said improvement is benefited in the amounts shown on said roll and that the Assessment <br />Roll filed Aug. 26th, 1903, and the Final Estimate allowed Aug. 26th. 1903, should be and <br />the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. In the matter of the <br />latter improvement - the Board find after a thorough investigation that the properties of <br />Fred Rochstroh and John A. Wunderlich arenot benefited in the amounts shown on said roll <br />by $24.00 each and accordingly cause said roll to ue so changed that the findings of the <br />Board showing the reduction of $24.00 from each of the respective assessments appear thereo: <br />Furth6r the Board find that the properties of Seth Hammond and Leslie C. Whitcomb are each <br />benefited in the amount s of $6.00 above the assessment for said properties as shown on <br />said roll, and the Board have caused said roll to be so changed that the increase in the <br />above parties assessments thereon may appear. Said Roll having been so amended and <br />no remoistrants appearing - the Board find that the property described in said roll is now <br />benefited in the amounts of assessments as shown on -said roll, and that the assessment roll <br />filed Aug. 21st, 1903, and the Final Estimate allowed Aug. 21st, 1903, should be and the <br />same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />President. <br />
