Improvement Resolution + 165. Be it resolved by the Board of `Public Works -of the City of South Bend., Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows, The grading of the roadway and the construction of cement walks and curbing on Emerson ave. from Mishawaka ave. to'the St. Joseph river. Said improvement shall be known and desig-- na.t6d as the Emerson street grade, curb and walks and shall be constructed according to th plans and specifications prepared by the City -Civil Engineer, filed herewithe Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of -the above work shall be pub lishod on The loth. and on the 17th. days of Sept., 1903, in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Txibune. • This Board will give a -hearing on this resolution at its of ice in the City Mall on the 22nd. dfySept., 1903, at 7:15 P.M. and will receive bids up to 10 a.m. oln the 23rd. day of September, 1903. Adopted this 8th. day of Sept, 1903. Improvement Resolution + 166. Be it resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: The grad- ing of the roadway to the'established grade, and the construction of cement curbing on boh sides of'the roadway and the laying of cement sidewalks on the north side only of W.Sample at. from Harris at. to the alley west of Kosciuszko street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as the W&Sampike at. grade, curb and walks and shall be constructed according'to'the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer filed -here- with.- Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be pablisped on the-10th. and on the 17th. days of Sept:, 1903, in -the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune. This Board will give a hearing on ,this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 22nd. day of September, 1903, at 7:15 P.M. and will receive bids up to 10 A..M. on the 23rd. day of September, 1903. Adopted this 8th. day of September, 1903. The Board adjourned to meet in special session at 7:15 P.M. President.
