Commission authorization re uested'to ublish Notice <br />Of Ititehded Sale'of'Dis osition:Par-cels'2 and'3 in <br />the onroe =Sam le'Develo ment`ArO6, with publication <br />date to be October 30 1981 and receipt of bids'to'b( <br />at l :OO a..m.'on'NOvem er'20; 1981 <br />On a motion made by Mr. Donaldson, seconded by Mr. Cira <br />and unanimously carried, permission was granted to pub- <br />lish Notice of Intended Sale of Disposition Parcels 2 <br />and in the Monroe - Sample Development Area, and to re- <br />ceive bids at 10:00.a.m. on November 20, 1981. <br />i. Commission authorization requested to advertise for <br />bids for title work and survey work in'the Studebaker <br />Corr. dor. <br />Mr. Horton explained to the Commission that in Septem- <br />ber we received a grant from the State Department of <br />Commerce in the amount of $71,000.00 and we applied <br />much of that grant toward planning activities for the <br />Studebaker Corridor Project. Two weeks ago we were <br />givei notice from the Economic Development Administra- <br />tion that the grant we applied for in January of 1981 <br />was ipproved in the amount of $75,000. This grant is <br />specifically for survey, title and appraisal work, and <br />we r quest permission to advertise for bids for the <br />sury y and title work portions of the project. <br />On a motion made by Mr. Donaldson, seconded by Mr. <br />Cira and unanimously carried, the Executive Director <br />was iuthorized and directed to advertise for bids for <br />titl work and survey work in the Studebaker Corridor. <br />j. Commission approval requested for Certificate of <br />Comp I etion.'for RAHN Properties*II. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that we have a Certificate of <br />Completion for RAHN Properties II. When we entered <br />into the lease agreement with RAHN Properties for <br />the land and they prepared their plans for the build- <br />ing, the building plans were approved by the Design <br />Revi w Committee. It then is our obligation, when <br />the Duilding is nearing completion, to review the <br />construction and give them a Certificate of Comple- <br />tion if they indeed have constructed the building <br />acco ding to the plans that were previously approved. <br />AUTHORIZATION GIVEN TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />TITLE WORK AND SURVEY <br />WORK IN STUDEBAKER <br />CORRIDOR <br />
