Hearing as to amount of assessments and upon the final estimate for the constr- uction of asphalt pavement on Taylor street from Colfax Avenue to Washington street -No remonstrators appeared* The assessment roll, filed on June 13, 1901, is hereby confirmed. Hearing as to the amount of the assessment.and upon the final estimate for the construction of sewer connections on West Washington street from Walnut street to Circle Avenue. First hearing on condemnation resolution No. 1, passed on April 13, 1901. The board having considered the remonstrance of Elisha Peek and Hannah Peck, do nevertheless declare the following described property condemned for the use of said City: Beginning at the north west corner of Vinson's subdivision of State Bank Outlot 121, running thence east parallel with the north line of Bartlett street as platted and laid out between Mich- igan and Lafayette streets, to the west line of Michigan street, thence north fifty feet along the west line of Michigan street, thence west to_a point on the east line of Laf- ayette street fifty feet north of the beginning point, thence south fifty feet to the place of beginning, excepting the part of Main street included in the above description, already dedicatedl-and;usedzfor street purpose.e, the property of Elisha Peek- and Hannah.
