Harcus: In accordance with the recommendation of <br />e North /South Advisory Board, request is hereby made <br />r the Redevelopment Commission approval of a grant to <br />NEW, INC., a not -for- profit organization for rehabili- <br />tion of property located at 920 Cleveland Avenue, in <br />e amount of $3,225.00. The Bureau of Housing has on <br />le the application of this grant, and final approval <br />uld be subject to RENEW, INC., showing evidence of <br />operty ownership. <br />GRANT FOR <br />RENEW, INC. <br />APPROVED FOR <br />REHABILITATION <br />. Donaldson made a motion to approve a grant in the <br />amount <br />of $3,225.00 to RENEW, INC., a not -for- profit <br />organization <br />for the rehabilitation of property located <br />at <br />920 Cleveland Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, seconded <br />by <br />Ms. Auburn, and the motion was unanimously carried. <br />c. A. <br />price <br />of 167.00, for an amended contract total of <br />STICKLER PLUMBING <br />40.00, at the address of 237 East In Tana, as set <br />APPROVED <br />TErth <br />In letter from Mr. James Harcus; Director, Bureau <br />o <br />Housing. <br />MT. <br />Harcus: Just as service of Plumbing Contract South- <br />east <br />#13 was nearing completion at 237 E. Indiana, the <br />homeowner <br />brought to the attention of the Bureau's <br />Inspector <br />that the bathtub drain, tub fixtures, and the <br />fixtures <br />of the kitchen sink had begun to leak. The <br />inspector <br />verified this report and acquired a cost <br />estimate <br />for the replacement of the defective parts. <br />The <br />Commission is requested to approve Change Order #1 <br />with <br />R. A. Stickler Plumbing for an increase in contract <br />price <br />of $167.00. <br />-4- <br />
