While performing <br />• Irogress inspection the bureau also observed the following: <br />1) kitchen cabinet doors were not closing and catches should <br />be installed; (2) installation of underlayment and tile would <br />be appropriate to small side door landing which is showing <br />wear and beginning to chip. This landing exists adjacent to <br />a hallway and kitchen where surfaces are specified to be <br />re fled; (3) living room evidenced water damage and should <br />be repaired. The roof had been serviced under a prior <br />eme,Tgency contract. Change Order #2 reflects these recommen- <br />ds ions and increases contract by $108.00. <br />Mr Robinson made a motion to approve Change Order #2, with <br />Charles Brown Maintenance Co., for an increase in contract <br />price of $108.00, seconded by Mr. Donaldson, and the motion <br />was unanimously carried. <br />Coinnission zipproval requested for Change Order #3, Charles <br />Brown Maintenance Co., Inc. for an increase in contract <br />nice of $177.00, for an amended contract total of $5,807.00 <br />at the address of 1214 E. Cedar Street, as set forth in <br />letter from Mr. James Harcus. Director, Bureau'of Housing. <br />Original contract for 1214 E. Cedar Street specified replace- <br />ment of deteriorated base cabinets. It was discovered that <br />wa 1 units are interlocked with base cabinets and would <br />collapse if the base was removed (the result of prior <br />handyman's inventiveness).
