7. NEW $USINESS (Cont'd) of one (1) aluminum combination storm window. At the time of the inspection, the homeowner was using the window for an air conditioner but has since discontinued its use. Mr. Richard E. Pfeifer, Chief Inspector, Northwest Bureau of Housing, in his memorandum of October 4, 1976, was recommend- ing this request be approved. The dwelling is at 752 North CHANGE Cleveland Avenue, and increases the contract amount from ORDER $6,342.00 to an amended contract total of: $6,374.00. NO. 1 TO On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Cira and carried, CONTRACT the above Change Order was approved. NWCD /PR/ Change Order No. 2 to Contract NWCD /PR /CS- 1/05: This is for CHANGE an increase in contract amount of $824.00, for work on the ORDER front porch, 6' x 19', to include tearing out the porch deck- NO. 2 TO ing, joists and columns. Install 2' x 6' joists 16" O.C. and CONTRACT tongue and groove decking, paint decking two coats. Install NWCD /PR/ 28 ft. of lattice work and paint two coats. Install two wrought CS -1/05 iron corner posts and two wrought iron flat posts. APPROVED, NWCD Mr. Brownell read Mr. Pfeifer's memorandum which stated the HOUSING porch decking on the change order was detected and reported in PROGRAM the specification write up. However, the Northwest Advisory Board requested to have it deleted from the contract. Since the time of the initial inspection, this porch deck has deteriorated to the point of being unsafe for the occupants. Therefore, a telephone poll of the Advisory Board members was made and the entire Advisory Board voted "yes" to the replacements specified on the change order. It is recommended that the contract be amended to include the items on the Change Order and that it be approved. The dwelling is at 537 North Euclid Avenue, and increases the contract amount from $2,156.00 to an amended contract total of: $3,599.00. On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Cira and carried, the above Change Order was approved. 31 Change Order No. 1 to Contract NWCD /PR /CS -1/04: This is for CHANGE specification changes with contract price unchanged for dwell- ORDER ing at 612 North Walnut Street. Contract amount: $3,207.00. NO. 1 TO CONTRACT Mr. Pfeifer, in his memorandum of October 11, 1976, advised NWCD /PR/ since the time of the initial inspection, the homeowner has CS -1/04 replaced the sprayer on the sink. However, she has leak APPROVED, problems with her fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom. The NWCD contractor was instructed to submit a change order for the HOUSING deletion of the sprayer and the additions requested on the PROGRAM change order at no additional cost.
