Mr. Brownell checked and <br />r turned to the meeting and advised there were no bids there. <br />esident Nimtz called for bids anyone may have for Disposition <br />rcel Nos. 2 -6A and 2 -6B, situated in the Central Downtown <br />oject, Indiana R -66. <br />Mr. Brownell stated he had received a bid from the Peoples First <br />F deral Savings and Loan Association, and Mr. Robert E. Soderberg, <br />President, is present in this meeting. <br />N other bids were received on the call, and the Chair declared <br />tie time for receiving any further bids be closed, and directed <br />Mr. Brownell to proceed to open the bid. <br />Mr. Brownell opened the sealed envelope and stated the following <br />d cuments.were enclosed therein: Peoples First Federal'Savings <br />aid Loan Association Check No. 36533, in amount of $2,860.00- - <br />C rtified #14609, by First National Bank of Mishawaka, in an <br />e velope within the bid documents; a bid proposal signed by <br />P oples First Federal Savings and Loan Association of St. Joseph <br />C unty, with the signature of Robert E. Soderberg, President. <br />The bid amount is for Disposition Parcel 2 -6A, approximately <br />10,207 square feet, unit price $2.80 offered, or a total price <br />of $28,579.60. In reference to Exhibit 3, Page 2, No. 1, it <br />states that "The subject parcel is being purchased along with <br />the Katz building, to provide for future expansion to our South <br />Bend Office. Immediate plans call for paving and landscaping for <br />parking and the addition of a drive -up kiosk lane. In accordance <br />with this plan, we will immediately raze the Katz building and add <br />a door on that side of our office. The remainder of the site'will <br />b paved and landscaped in keeping with other such improvements <br />i the downtown area."
