An employee must have physically worked on or <br />after their anniversary date to qualify to receive the supplemental vacation as payment on termination. <br />**Employees belonging to the Teamsters are not permitted to roll over vacation time from year to year. <br />Scheduling vacation time: To schedule vacation time, employees should submit a request for time off to <br />his/her supervisor in the manner required by each department. Each department has the right to establish <br />the length of prior notification necessary for vacation requests based on the operational needs of the <br />department. Employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement or duty manual should refer to the <br />agreement/manual for specific guidance on the use and scheduling of vacation time. <br />
