TIME OFF/LEAVES OF ABSENCE Vacation Vacation with pay is granted to all full-time employees. Upon hire, a prorated amount of vacation will be deposited in an employee's vacation bank based on the month of hire (see "New Hire Vacation Schedule" below). In all subsequent years, vacation will be determined based on a full year (January 1 — December 31) and will be placed in the employee's bank in the first week of the following year. Once deposited, vacation is available for an employee's immediate use (subject to supervisor approval). Please note that vacation requests during an employee's introductory period may be subject to additional scrutiny. Employees in positions covered by bargaining agreements may have vacation accruals and rules within their bargaining agreement. Bargaining unit employees should refer to their bargaining agreement for vacation rules.
