<br />Mr. Wiggins moved for the approval of Change Order No. 2 to Re-
<br />habilitation Contract No. 51, with Barany Sheet %Metal & Heating
<br />Company, for a decrease in contract amount of $46.26, or an
<br />amended contract total of $6,996.74, with no change in contract
<br />time, in the Southeast Project E -7. Motion seconded by Mr.
<br />Donaldson and carried.
<br />Change Order`No. 1 to Rehabi`'litation Contract No. 55: Commis-
<br />sion approval was requested for this Change Order, with Ted
<br />Combs Decorating & "Construction Company, which is for an in-
<br />crease in contract amount of $59.00, (Contract: $4,940.96), or
<br />an amended total of: $4,999.96, to clean drain line from the
<br />basement to the street, at: 625 East Broadway Street, Southeast
<br />Project E -7.
<br />Mr. James L. Johnson, Jr., Chief Inspector, advised in his memo-
<br />randum the specifications called for the second floor bathroom
<br />lavatory drain to be cleaned; however, since the time of the
<br />initial inspection, tree roots and other debris have clogged the
<br />sewer line, and the- staff -is recommending the approval of the
<br />change order.
<br />Mr. Wiggins moved for the approval of Change Order No. 1 to
<br />Rehabilitation Contract No. 55, with Ted Combs Decorating &
<br />Construction Company, for an increase in contract amount of
<br />$59.00, or an amended contract total of $4,999.96, with no change
<br />in contract time, in the Southeast Project E -7 Motion seconded
<br />by Mr. Donaldson and carried.
<br />Change Order No. l to Rehabilitation Contract No. 58: Commis -
<br />sion approval was requested for this Change Order, with Slatile
<br />Roofing & Sheet Metal Company, for a decrease in contract
<br />amount of $40.00, (Contract: $1,975.00), or an amended total
<br />of: $1,935.00, to deduct the replacement of basement window
<br />sash, at: 718 East Broadway Street, Southeast Project E -7.
<br />. James L. Johnson, Jr., Chief Inspector, outlines in his
<br />morandum that this change order is to delete the replacement
<br />the northeast basement window sash and the two coat painting
<br />ich will decrease the contract in amount of $40.00, or an
<br />ended contract amount of $1,935.00.
