Committee, Project E -7, Bureau of Housing, subject to Legal
Counsel approval.
Mr. Keith P. Crighton, Director, Bureau of Housing, advised this
structure is presently serving as the Southeast Bureau of Housing
site office. In accordance with our original rental agreement be-
tween the Broadway Christian Parish and the Bureau of Housing, it
was agreed that no more than $5,000 would be set aside for the re-
habilitation of this unit. A bid opening had been held after pro-
per advertising and the only bid received by the Bureau of Housing
for the rehabilitation of Contract No. 67 was Ted Combs Decorating
and Construction Company, in amount of $5,469.57. The Advisory
Committee authorized the approval of the contract with the firm,
providing the items the staff listed were deleted from the contract
specifications subject to approval of Commission Legal Counsel.
This reduces the contract price by $500.00 and brings it in line
with funds allocated. The deletions are: In living room, the
graphs taken of this structure that he had the Commissioners view,
as he felt that due to the considerable amount of this Change Order
that they should be able to see what is going on with the struc-
