Commissioner <br />Wiggins said a lot of people picked up the papers, but as it <br />says in the "Good Book" ... many were called, but few were <br />chosen ... or vice versa. <br />Amendment to Change Order No. 11; Site Improvements, Phase III, AMENDED <br />Indiana R =66 Project; Change Order No. 17: Mr. Brownell gave C.O. #11 <br />a brief outline of C.O. No. 11, which had been approved in APPROVED: <br />Commission Meeting of April 19, 1974, with discussion in that C.O. #17 <br />meeting and April 5, for a request for additions in amount of APPROVED <br />$75,123.00, and deletions in amount of $19,428.40, or a total & AUTHOR <br />increase in contract price of $55,694.60. The motion was made IZED, TO <br />by Commission to have our Legal Counsel react on the findings CONTRACT 5, <br />and if it meets with his approval, C.O. No. 11 would be author- PHASE III, <br />ized for a total increase in contract price of $55,694.60. That R -66 <br />sum was approved by Legal Counsel for increase in maximum amount <br />of $59,072.56, with date of change: June 4, 1974. The work was <br />based on amount of work to be incurred by The Hickey Company, <br />in Contract No. 5, Phase II`I. The amount of $59,072.56 has <br />been reduced to $54,805.80, and the changes are reflected in <br />the "As Built" quantities to Change Order No. 11 and detailed <br />on Change Order No. 17 to amend Change Order No. 11, which is <br />a decrease to the contract amount fn sum of $4,266.76. <br />The motion was made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Donaldson <br />and carried, to approve the amended Change Order No. 11, in <br />the amount of $59,072.56 (maximum) - -an increase to contract <br />amount; and to approve and authorize Change Order No. 17, to <br />decrease contract in amount of $4,266.76. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Authorization and Addendum to Contract for Additional Pro- ADDENDUM <br />fessional Services per Article I -B, with Joint Venture, TO CONTRACT <br />(Clyde E. Williams & Associates, Inc. and Environmental WITH JOINT <br />Planning & Design), R -66: The general scope of the work VENTURE <br />involves preparation of complete plans and specifications APPROVED, <br />for bidding purposes for the construction of most of Block R -66 <br />7, as previously designed, with modifications to Block 8. <br />The detailed scope of the work is defined in the subject <br />Addendum. <br />Mr. Phil Simonds with Environmental Planning & Design, <br />and Mr. Thomas A. Oesterling with Clyde E. Williams & <br />Associates, Inc. were present for discussion. Mr. Oester- <br />ling gave the presentation and itemized the contents of <br />the Addendum. <br />The authorization and amendment is to be considered a part <br />of the contract dated May 15, 1970, between the Department <br />of Redevelopment and the Joint Ventures. The costs for addi- <br />tional plans and specifications are not to exceed $27,000 <br />without additional authorization. <br />- 7 - <br />r <br />
