2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES (Cont'd
a.
a
Mr.
issioner Wiggins:
Well, he is listed here as being present; he's listed here
on some several pages, on his remarks that he said. That is
what we are considering.
Approval and /or
of April 18, 19
is to Minutes of Regular Meeti
The Chair asked for a motion for the Minutes of April 18th,
that it be approved. Said motion was made by Mr. Chenney,
seconded by Mr. Wiggins and carried.
Approval and /or Amendments to Minutes of
of April 29, 1975:
cial Meeti
President Nimtz said, "Now, we get to the Minutes of April
29, 1975. Now, this is the one that Helen King was not the
reporter, isn't that right? Mr. Brownell: Right." Com-
missioners concurred.
Chair: "Now, there may be some in that that are
sketchy in those Minutes."
Commissioner Wiggins requested copies of those Minutes for
the discussion, which were also produced.
Kevin J. Butler, Commission Legal Counsel: Jeanne, is there
any ommission, or Board, or Council, who does prepare
a transcription of the Minutes as extensive as this
Commission? I have never seen it. I'think that maybe
our problem is that ours might tend to go too far.
Ms. Derbeck: I don't think that the remarks have to be verbatim.
I'm not an authority, but I wouldn't be objective
for a lack of verbatim remarks, but I think there
should be, at least, some reference to the matters
discussed.
Mr. Butler: That's why we present them in a meeting for approval,
so that if anyone has any comments with respect to it,
they can bring it up.
Ms. Derbeck: But, I think there should be at least a sentence or
two, or a summary acknowledging the essence of major
objections, and things like that.
MINUTES
APPROVED,
REGULAR MTG.
OF APRIL 18,
1975
You asked if other Commissions - -well, the other one that
I cover regularly is The Housing Authority meetings, and
I think they have pretty extensive minutes. At least, I
think so.
- 4 -
