Maintenance of traffic during construction shall conform to the "Indiana Manual on Uniform <br />Traffic Control Devices" and the City of South Bend Design and Construction Standards. <br />2. After the award of the contract and before beginning the work, the Contractor shall submit <br />his/her/its proposed schedule of operations for the review of the Engineer. The schedule of <br />operations as reviewed by the Engineer shall be maintained at all times. <br />3. This Pay Item shall include all labor, Road Closure Assemblies, flashing arrow boards, barricades, <br />delineators, and other signs as needed to adequate traffic control. <br />4. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing continuous access to all residences adjacent to <br />the work as part of this Pay Item. <br />5.
