The City of South Bend reserves the right to utilize some or all of the retainage held or a portion <br />of the posted surety to complete as -built drawings if they are not submitted within twenty-one <br />calendar days of the substantial completion of the project. <br />5. Final hard copy as -built drawings shall be submitted in electronic PDF format. <br />6. This work shall not be measured or paid for directly but shall be considered incidental to the <br />Project. <br />SP-14. SUPPLEMENTAL DOCUMENTATION <br />A. State Specifications: None <br />B. Additions: <br />Copies of the Geotechnical Report have been made available as supplemental data at the time of <br />distribution of the Contract Documents to the Contractor. This information is provided for the <br />convenience and benefit of the Contractor. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to verify that <br />such information was received along with the Contract Documents. Failure to receive or review <br />the supplemental material by the Contractor shall in no way increase the liability of the Owner or <br />its agents with regards to unforeseen or differing site conditions. <br />SP-15. INSURANCE <br />A. State Specifications Section 103 <br />B. Additions: <br />1. All Contractors and subcontractors doing business with the City of South Bend shall present a <br />Certificate of Insurance showing coverage in the following minimum amount: <br />2. General Liability: Premises -Completed Operations or Products, Bodily Injury and Property <br />Damage Combined Single Limit - $5,000,000. <br />3. There shall be no exclusion for explosion, collapse or underground hazard. <br />4. Workmen's Compensation: Statutory State of Indiana Employer's Liability - $100,000. <br />5. Auto Liability: Bodily Injury and Property Damage Combined Single limit - $1,000,000 <br />6. City of South Bend shall be named as additional insured on the Certificate of Insurance. <br />7. Contractor and subcontractors shall provide any and all insurance policies, documents, <br />endorsements, or certificates related to this Contract immediately upon the request of the City <br />Engineer. <br />SP-16. SCOPE OF WORK <br />A. State Specifications: Sections 104.01, 104.02, 104.05 <br />B. Additions: <br />1. The Contractor has the responsibility to thoroughly inspect and verify the site conditions prior to <br />submitting a Bid.
