Mr. <br />Wayne Brownell, Acting Deputy Director, stated we would <br />have an obligation to put it back where it was. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade <br />and unanimously carried, the staff negotiate with <br />Dainty Maid for a prorated amount of the total costs, <br />and have the results for Commission action for the <br />next meeting. Mr. David L. Hab, representing Dainty <br />Maid Bake Shop, and present in both sessions of the <br />Commission meeting, agreed to.the time element. <br />B. & J. Demolition Company Agreement: Authorization <br />was requested to enter into an agreement with the B. & J. <br />Demolition Company to allow fill dirt to remain, on <br />Parcel No. 1 -12, at 2206 Washington Street, in the Merry <br />Avenue Project, at a rental fee of $25.00 per month, for <br />approximately two (2) months. <br />Mr. L. Kent Wilcox advised that all of the buildings are <br />down in the Merry Avenue Project. We have one condemna- <br />tion case left in that project, and B. & J. Demolition <br />Company removed the last building in that Project. There <br />is some fill dirt that they would like to store on that <br />site for two (2) months. This has been checked out with <br />Model Cities and to leave the dirt on the property will <br />create no problems on the sale of the land. <br />Commissioner Wiggins stated his position, as discussed, <br />is the possibility of any hazards this may create, and to <br />be sure we have proper insurance. Mr. Wilcox advised we <br />have insurance coverage until we turn the project over <br />to the Economic Development Corporation - -our agreement <br />with Model Cities. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and unani- <br />mously carried, the President and Secretary were authorized <br />to enter into an agreement with the B. & J. Demolition <br />Company, as noted above. <br />7.
