DeWulf Mechanical Con- TO CONTRACT FOR tractors, Inc., for Beck's Lake Secondary Storm Sewer, for BECK'S LAKE SECONDARI' an increase in contract amount of $924.00, with no change STORM SEWER APPROVED, in time, R -57. R -57 This contract was for the installation of storm sewer from Beck's Lake to the northwest trunk sewer at Kenmore Street. The following changes were requested in accordance with Section 109 of the General Conditions: 32 lineal feet of 12" P.V.C. pipe $ 404.00 Standard pre -cast manhole 390.00 Manhole frame and lid 130.00 Total increase 924.00 Mr. W yne Brownell said we needed another manhole to make it wo k. On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and unani- mously carried, Change Order No. 1, noted above, was approved for ai increase in contract amount of $924.00, with no change in time, R -57. Change Order No. 16 to Contract No. 5, Phase III, CHANGE ORDER NO. 16 R -66: Mr. James T. Za rocki, Proje ct Manager of The Hickey TO CONTRACT NO. 5, Compa y, in letter dated June 26, 1974, is requesting a change PHASE III, R -66, order be issued to correct the error in the specifications, APPROVED with io change in contract price. Mr. Dian Akin, Clyde E. Williams & Associates, advised that certain alternates were included in the bid proposals and among the alternates was the Whitacre -Greer bricks. We have the exact brick we chose for the project. However, an error was made in the technicality in the specifications when written and Hastings extruded brick was included. This item was discussed in the Executive Session, with the public present, and agreed this change order be authorized.
