NEW BUSINESS (Cont' <br />c. Change Order No. 4 to Demolition & Site Improvement <br />Contract No. 34: This G ange rder is fora decrease in <br />contract amount of $100.00, with the Jackson Wrecking Company, <br />R -66 Project. This is for the deletion of the backfilling <br />with granular aggregates and grading, for work at the site <br />of t e Acquisition Parcel No. 9 -14B, at the rear of 120 South <br />Main Street. <br />Mr. Lennon advised this is part of the work that was left <br />over from the Miller Construction Company contract that was <br />abandoned. The deletion of the above work was included in <br />the Howell Construction Company contract for the bus terminal <br />work <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and unani- <br />mous y carried, Change Order No. 4 to Demolition & Site <br />Improvement Contract No. 34, for a decrease in contract <br />amount of $100.00, with the Jackson Wrecking Company, was <br />approved. <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 4 <br />TO DEMOLITION & SITE <br />IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT <br />NO. 34 APPROVED, <br />R -66 <br />Ch— .ange Order No. 9 to Contract Phase II -C: This CHANGE ORDER NO. 9 <br />Chance Order is for an increase in contract amount of TO CONTRACT PHASE II -C <br />$4,3 5.37, with the Howell Construction Company, Inc., R -66. APPROVED, R -66 <br />Mr, Bill Slabaugh, Redevelopment Engineer, advised of the five <br />items it was discovered three were underground and the items <br />are s follows: <br />Underground investigation at Main and <br />Jefferson Streets $ 178.98 <br />Lowering opening for 24" line to com- <br />pensate for sag in existing sewer 113.77 <br />Clean up Service Drive No. 5 following <br />Blue Note and Ault building fire 277.50 <br />H' -Early cement on Penney's loading dock 45.45 <br />G aser Building sidewalk 1,691.08 <br />I let hookup at Main and Jefferson 223.27 <br />I lets constructed at northwest and <br />southwest corners of Jefferson and <br />Michigan 1,010.32 <br />Vault and manhold demolition along <br />S rvice Drive No. 5 845.00 <br />Total........... ,385.37 <br />On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Rev. Williams and unani- <br />mously carried, Change Order No. 9 to Contract Phase II -C, for <br />an increase in contract amount of $4,385.37, with the Howell <br />Construction Company, Inc., was approved. <br />Ss <br />
