Also competing for the Experimental <br />Federal Housing Program are: Saginaw, Michigan and <br />Springfield, Ohio. <br />On motion by Rev. Williams, seconded and supported by <br />Mr. Wiggins and unanimously carried, the Commission <br />accepts and supports the recommendation by the Southeast <br />PAC, as submitted. <br />Mr. Wiggins said that his understanding, and to correct <br />him if he is wrong, is that the State of Indiana ranks about <br />50th in the nation in the Federal dollars returned for the <br />Federal dollars collected in taxes. <br />This was affirmed to be true.
