4. COMMUNICATIONS (Cont'd) <br />i. HUD letter dated November 6; 1973: This letter, CANCELLATION OF 312 <br />over he signature of Mr. H. L. Baina a, Acting Director, LOAN APPLICATIONS <br />Opera ions Division, advised they have received instructions <br />that ill FRAD unfunded Sec. 312 loan applicatons dated FY 1973 <br />recen ly returned to the LPA are to be cancelled immediately <br />using HUD Form 6230C. <br />Mr. Lennon advised this is based on the lack of funding commit- <br />ment by Congress to Section 312 loan programs throughout the <br />U.S. <br />HUD letter dated November 13, 1973: This letter, LAND ACQUISITION AND <br />over rhe signature of Mr. H. L. Bainaka, Acting Director, DISPOSITION FORMS <br />Operations Division, requested our completion of their HUD <br />Form 6161, with instructions to complete the status of land <br />acquisition, disposition and Redevelopment related forms. <br />On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, the above <br />lette s were to be received and placed on file. Motion <br />carri d. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />i. South Bend Public Transportation Corporation: <br />Mr. L nnon a vise d we received a request this morning from <br />the S uth Bend Public Transporation Company to enter into <br />serio s negotiations with our Commission for terminal trans- <br />fer p int, involving Disposition Parcel Nos. 4 -87 and 4 -65, <br />(Lot Nos. 31, 32 and 33), which is directly across from the <br />First Bank, west of the service drive and south of the Odd <br />Fellows Building. They would like to meet with at least one <br />member of the Commission to negotiate the first part of the <br />week. Commission authorization was requested to further <br />explo a this with one or more Commissioners present. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and <br />unanimously carried, the President and Secretary of the <br />Commission were authorized to negotiate and enter into a <br />contract with the South Bend Public Transportation Corpora- <br />tion, relative to the above parcels, to be on a temporary <br />basis <br />The m <br />8:00 <br />Butl ei <br />senta, <br />eting was set for Tuesday, November 20, 1973, at <br />.m., E.S.T., with Messrs.
