Addendum to Lawson Associates Contract: This Addendum <br />is an increase to contract amount not to exceed $4,000.00 and <br />an extension of time to November 30, 1973 for our River Bank <br />Study <br />The total budget of $250,000 plus includes the planning, archi- <br />tectu al design and the planning for the entire river bank on <br />ours de, except Howard Park, on the pedestrian side of the <br />bridge--that is for the study, construction, etc. Lawson <br />Assoc ates is doing the study; construction would be the Park <br />Department and the City would be for land acquisition. It is <br />vital the East side as well as the West side be developed. <br />On mo ion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and unani- <br />mous) carried, Addendum No. 1 was approved in amount not to <br />exceec $4,000.00 and time extended to November 30, 1973 for <br />the River Bank Study. <br />h. Commercial Lease: Commission approval was requested to <br />enter into Commercial L ease with the Board of Public Works for <br />parking in Block 6, at $10.00 per month, R -66 Project. This <br />conforms with prior Commercial Leases we have with the Board <br />of Public Works, back in 1971, for the City to develop addi- <br />tional surface parking. This is in the area where our former <br />330 L. .E. Relocation Site Office was located. <br />On motion by Mr. Wade, seconded by Mr. Chenney and unanimously <br />carried, Commercial Lease for surface parking in Block 6 was <br />authorized with the Board of Public Works at a monthly rental <br />of $10.00. <br />ADDENDUM TO LAWSON <br />ASSOCIATES CONTRACT <br />APPROVED, R -66 <br />COMMERCIAL LEASE <br />APPROVED FOR BLOCK <br />6, R -66 <br />i. Change Order No. 2 to Contract No. 5: Approval was CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 <br />requested for a Change Order to Contract No. 5, with The Hickey TO CONTRACT NO. 5 <br />Compan , Inc., to purchase extra equipment for the Mall, in APPROVED, PEDESTRIAN <br />reference to our consultants letter dated June 6, 1973. MALL, PHASE III, R -66 <br />Mr. Lennon advised he would like approval and Commission author- <br />ity to get together with Mr. Jim Seitz and work out some type <br />of contract with the Park Department - -the contract to be mutually <br />agreed upon at a later date. <br />On mot on by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and unanimously <br />carried, the extra equipment was authorized to be purchased for <br />the Mall to have maintenance inventory on hand. <br />j. Jefferson Street Alternate: The Redevelopment Commission JEFFERSON STREET <br />author ,zed the consulting engineer, Mr. Thomas A. Oesterling with ALTERNATE EQUIPMENT <br />Clyde . Williams and Associates, to proceed and purchase the AUTHORIZED, R -66 <br />necessary street lighting, traffic signals and common work for <br />the Je ferson Street alternate.
