Contract "I ", Site Im rovements, R -57: Authoriza- <br />tion to advertise for this contract was received in Com- <br />mission meeting of March 2, 1973. Advertisement appeared <br />in The South Bend Tribune and Tri- County News on March 23, <br />and March 30, 1973. Bid opening was April 18, 1973, at <br />11:0 A.M., E.S.T., with two (2) firms submitting bids out <br />of hree (3) receiving bid documents, The bids received <br />were: <br />Amount of Bid <br />McI tyre & Jones Construction Co. <br />252i W. The recommenda- <br />tion was the award go to the low bidder, Rieth -Riley <br />Construction Co., Inc., in bid amount of $9,998.50. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and unani- <br />mou ly carried, Contract "I" was awarded to Rieth -Riley <br />Con truction Co., Inc., in bid amount of $9,998.50, and <br />the President and Secretary be authorized to enter into <br />a c ntract, subject to Legal Counsel approval and HUD con- <br />cur ence. <br />d. Change Order No. 2 to Vault Contract No. 1: This <br />Change Order is with H. G. Christman Construction Co., Inc., <br />for structural redesign, with increase in contract price <br />of 1,979.00, Project Indiana R -66. This is on the Sherland <br />Building. <br />The <br />and <br />vau <br />Commission had approved Change Order No. 1 for removal <br />relocation of electrical and plumbing fixtures from the <br />t.
