Kirk submitted his PROPERTY MANAGEMENT <br />en report: <br />The rent roll has increased by 884.76 percent <br />from South Bend Parking Company, for approxi- <br />mately 109.5 ft. frontage of parking on parcels <br />51 and 52 @ $8.08 per foot. <br />Grass is being cut on all parkways and lots owned <br />by the Department. <br />The Peanut Shop is having trouble with the air <br />conditioning unit at its new location as well as <br />some leakage in building - -being corrected. <br />This is the last week for the Flying Squad in <br />LaSalle Park. They did an excellent job under <br />the supervision of Mrs. Brodie, A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc. <br />Rehabilitation Report, Site Offices: Mr. Richard REHABILITATION REPORTS, <br />A. M dison, Rehabilitation Director, submitted a written R -57, E -3 & E -5 OFFICES <br />repo t for the site offices: <br />R -57:1 1 initial inspection. <br />E -3: 9 initial inspections, 1 re- inspection, 40 progress <br />inspections, 4 final inspections, 7 grants. Five <br />initial inspections were made for the Department of <br />Relocation. <br />E -5: 11 initial inspections, 5 re- inspections, 40 <br />progress inspections, 1 final inspection, 28 <br />owner - rehabilitations. Mrs. Margaret Rush, Pro- <br />ject Coordinator, is making evening individual <br />contacts with homeowners re Code Enforcement <br />Program and setting up inspection dates for <br />people working days. She gave a report on <br />various meetings she attended and coordination. <br />The 1 inancial staff is currently processing 44 cases, to <br />be ter determined as to loans, grants, etc. <br />Relocation Progress Report: Mrs. Dorothy Howell, RELOCATION PROGRESS <br />Dire for of Residential Relocation, submitted the follow- REPORT <br />ing eport for her staff: <br />R -66: Workload one individual. Refuses to go to Public <br />Housing, looking for private rental. One indi- <br />vidual moved on her own. <br />Workload two families. One family moving tenta- <br />tively September 15; other has found new location <br />but waiting for approval from trustees of Church. <br />- 13 - <br />
