Williams, seconded by Mr. Wade, the <br />above <br />grant was approved and unanimously carried. <br />g. Change Order No. 1 to Demolition Contract No, <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 <br />22 <br />Commission authorization was requested for Change <br />TO DEMOLITION CONTRACT <br />Ur—der <br />No. 1 to Demolition Contract No. 22, with Warner <br />NO. 22 APPROVED, R -66 <br />Wrecking <br />Company, for an increase in contract price of <br />$5,905.40. <br />This contract covers.Parcel Nos. 1 -4, 1 -5 <br />an <br />1 -6- -all adjoining and North of the old Indiana <br />Employment <br />Service Building. The rubble had to be <br />removed <br />from underneath the parking, lot, which is.at <br />extra <br />cost. <br />The above change order for removal of the rubble and <br />ba kfill with suitable material is at a lower cost than <br />would have been paid under the Phase II -B, Contract 1, <br />bid of Arco Engineering Construction Corporation. <br />On motion by,Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade, Change <br />Order No. 1 to Demolition Contract No. 22 was approved <br />for an increase in contract price of $5,905.40. Motion <br />unanimously carried. <br />7.1 PROGRESS REPORTS <br />a. Business Relocation, R -66: Mr. Paul E. Becher, BUSINESS RELOCATION, <br />Business Relocation Director, submitted a written re- R -66 <br />port on his staff's activities. <br />Total of all business relocation payments made in <br />February is: $24,113.34; with three claims for moving <br />expenses totalling $3,651.34; four claims for alternate <br />payment totalling $17,962.00, and one claim for Small <br />Business Displacement Payment in amount of $2,500.00. <br />The remaining business workload in R -66 has been re- <br />duced to 30--17 of which wish to relocate but have not, <br />as yet, secured a new location; the other 13 either <br />wish to discontinue or have secured a new location. <br />-7- <br />
