FA <br />E <br />a <br />PROGRESS REPORTS (Cont`d) <br />b. Downtown Rehabilitation Report, R -66: Mr. DOWNTOWN REHABILITA- <br />►in R. Bauer, Rehabilitation Architect, also submitted TION, R -66 <br />►ritten report on his activities. <br />Discussed the physical condition of vaults, under side- <br />walk easements, chutes, elevator lifts, etc., that encroach <br />on city property - -some being non - productive or virtually <br />abandoned areas which become dead storage rooms and cause <br />seepage and moisture problems. Where the walks do not meet <br />the support of 150 lbs* per square foot of walkway, the <br />to ants must replace or reinforce the roof deck to meet <br />the load test for the resurfacing of sound decks and side- <br />walks within the Mall. Should the owner decide to vacate <br />th area, the total elimination of vaults would be our <br />responsibility. There is a total of 49 vaults in the <br />Mall area - -nine of which should be abandoned, 25 are in <br />need of some reinforcement or additional bracing. Nine <br />va lts are used for I &M equipment. <br />A najor expenditure facing many of the owner tenants this <br />year will be the conversion of their heating plants from <br />steam to alternate sources. <br />c. Property Management: Rev. Kirk submitted a PROPERTY MANAGEMENT <br />written report on Property Management. <br />The rent roll for February was $8,690.00. With a daily <br />balance of $1,475.50 from January, plus $8,690.00 <br />operating income for February, the total accounts re- <br />ceivable for February was $10,160.50 -- collected $7,570.00. <br />d. Rehabilitation Report, Site Offices: Mr. Richard REHABILITATION RE- <br />A adison, Reha ilitation Director, also submitted a PORTS, R -57, E -3 & <br />written report. E -5 OFFICES <br />In E -3, there were six initial inspections, three final <br />inspections, and nine progress reports made. <br />In R -57 there were two final inspections, two grants ap- <br />proved, and nine progress reports made. <br />In <br />E -5, <br />sixteen homes <br />have been inspected. <br />The <br />Financial <br />d <br />j e <br />isors <br />is . <br />are currently <br />processing cases in <br />all <br />three pro - <br />e. Relocation Report: A written report was sub RELOCATION REPORT <br />mi ted by Mrs. Dorothy Howell, Relocation Director. <br />In R -66, the workload is fourteen: 7 families and 7 <br />in ividuals. One individual accepted at Housing Author- <br />ity; one family moved before acquisition, contacted and <br />paid a moving claim and dislocation allowance.
