Wade, Change <br />Ordev No. 6 to Contract 1, Phase I, was approved for an <br />incr ase in contract price of $32,951.55, to cover the <br />abov - stated changes.' Motion unanimously carried. <br />Change Order No. 2 to Contract 1, Phase II -A: <br />Mr. arbe requested Commission approval-of this Change <br />Orde . The Commision, in meeting of September 17, 1971, <br />deleted a portion of this work, for Additive Alternate 1, <br />in t e amount of $6,144.00, for artistic treatment on the <br />retaining wall. This is a change order to add work at <br />this point. <br />The description of the changes are: <br />1. Deletion of Contract Item No. 37, <br />ecorative outside face of wall. $6,144.00 <br />Total $1,562.50 $6,144.00 <br />The et change in contract price is $4,581.50 -- decrease. <br />Pres dent Helmen asked if the Cultural Center is doing <br />some hing about the wall, as they were interested in <br />havi g some type of put -on decorative treatment later. <br />It w s decided to make the wall plain with add -on; <br />sket hes and samples forthe artistic treatment to be <br />submitted for Commission approval. <br />Mr. labaugh advised this was changed.so that the <br />Cultural people would-have a chance to see different <br />type of artistic treatment.
