Certificate of Completion: Authorization for CERTIFICATES OF <br />Certifi ate of Completion of Redevelopment was requested. COMPLETION OF <br />for the following: REDEVELOPMENT <br />R -57 <br />Dis osi ion Parcel No. Conveyed to AUTHORIZED, <br />7 -12 Hartman Builders, Inc. <br />8 -15 G.C.A., Inc. <br />both located on South Kentucky Street, in the LaSalle <br />Park Ur an Renewal Project, R -57. -- <br />On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, the - <br />above Certificates of Completion of Redevelopment were <br />authorized, and motion unanimously carried <br />d. Resolution No. 377 This Resolution relates to <br />acquisition of property by condemnation and authorize's <br />the mailing of a 10 -day notice of condemnation, in the <br />Central Downtown Urban Renewal Project, R -66, for the <br />following parcels: <br />Parcel No. Address -.�- <br />4-4 102 E. Colfax Avenue <br />4 -9 120 N. Michigan St. <br />4 -11 116 N. Michigan St. <br />4 -13 110 -112 N. Michigan St. <br />8 -4 1.02,& 112 S. Michigan St. <br />Mr. Wiggins moved for the adoption of Resolution No. 377, <br />seconded by Mr. Chenney and unanimously carried. <br />e. Acquisition of Easement, Parcel 3 -11A: Mr. Bruce EASEMENT PURCHASE <br />C. Hamme schmidt, Commission Legal'Counsel, adv -ised APPROVED, PARCEL <br />J.M.S. is requesting we acquire a 40 -foot easement,.lo- c:,t6 -11A, R -66 <br />cated at the rear:of the J.M.S. Building and the Power <br />Discount Store. This was an old easement J.M.S. had for' <br />an old coal bin. There is no ingress or egress into,the <br />alley. Our compromise is to acquire-26 feet of this-ease- <br />ment, wh ch will give us a 40 -foot alley. We will repair <br />the basement wall at the time we construct the alley. <br />The price for the 40 -foot easmment - was $5,400, and the <br />cost for the 26 feet of this parcel is $2,600. <br />Mr. Wigg ns moved for the motion to approve the acquisi- <br />tion of he 26 -foot easement, at a cost of $2,600. Said <br />motion s conded by Mr. Wade and unanimously carried. <br />
