Acquisition of Easement, Parcel 3 -11A: Mr. Bruce EASEMENT PURCHASE <br />C. Hamme schmidt, Commission Legal'Counsel, adv -ised APPROVED, PARCEL <br />J.M.S. is requesting we acquire a 40 -foot easement,.lo- c:,t6 -11A, R -66 <br />cated at the rear:of the J.M.S. Building and the Power <br />Discount Store. This was an old easement J.M.S. had for' <br />an old coal bin. There is no ingress or egress into,the <br />alley. Our compromise is to acquire-26 feet of this-ease- <br />ment, wh ch will give us a 40 -foot alley. We will repair <br />the basement wall at the time we construct the alley. <br />The price for the 40 -foot easmment - was $5,400, and the <br />cost for the 26 feet of this parcel is $2,600. <br />Mr. Wigg ns moved for the motion to approve the acquisi- <br />tion of he 26 -foot easement, at a cost of $2,600. Said <br />motion s conded by Mr. Wade and unanimously carried. <br />
