Hammerschmidt, Commission Legal Counsel, re- quested approval of a dwelling house lease and Option Agreement, on the Loretta Daly property, Parcel No. 28 -15, at 64 East Monroe Street, R -66, and authorization for the P esident and Secretary to sign. Mr. Hammerschmid t advis d this will not be closed until after February lst and p rt of the property is needed in the area for the -con- struc ion of the new sewer. Dwelling House Lease: The lease is with Mrs: Loretta Daly and,the Department of Redevelop- ment, for use of the premises solely and exclu- sively as work space for construction of sewer, for a period of six months -- beginning the 3rd day of September, 1971. The Department of Re- development, as the tenant, is to pay the sum of $1,000.00 for this term.for said use. Option Agreement:: This Option Agreement is for the concurred -in price of $12,535.00. On motion by M! Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, the Lease was approved for .said use for a period of six months in the amount of $1,000.00, and the Option Agree- ment approved for concurred -in price of $12,535.00; and the P esident and Secretary authorized to sign both docu- ments. We will have the right to advertise for demolition a little after the middle of March, and by the end of April we can have the building demolished. Everything can be set up and be ready to go.
