<br />Mr. A henf elter advised we are in the process of looking .
<br />for at office in the Model Cities area, for the Model
<br />Citie East Code Enforcement Project, E =5, and these
<br />peopl will be isolated if cars are'not provided. We
<br />are a ding to our staff of the LaSalle Park Project,
<br />R -57, for the Northeast Code Enforcement Project, E -3,
<br />now 1 cated at 515 N. Hill Street, and a car should be
<br />added to this office.
<br />President Helmen asked how many cars will that make
<br />now? Mr. Ashenfelter advised we have a total of nine
<br />cars zt present: two in the Downtown Office, three in
<br />the Relocation Office, and four in the Rehabilitation
<br />Office. The automobiles are all decaled: "Dept. of
<br />Redevelopment, City of South Bend, Ind.
<br />Mr. W ggins suggested that the automobiles advertised
<br />be for 1971 models, and receive the price break for
<br />these models. President Helmen said this was an
<br />excel ent suggestion and the Commission concurred.
<br />Motioii was made by Mr. Wiggins to advertise for three
<br />(3) 1971 Model automobiles, seconded by Rev. Williams
<br />and u animously carried.
<br />h. Updated Commission By -Laws: Mr. Bruce C RESOLUTION NO. 375
<br />Hamme schmidt, Commission Legal Counsel, requested ADOPTED WITH ATTACHED
<br />authorization of Resolution No. 375, for the adoption BY -LAWS
<br />of Code of By -Laws, which 'revokes the prior Code of
<br />By-Lavis and all amendments thereto.
<br />On motion by Rev. Williams, seconded by fir. Wade,
<br />Resolution No. 375 was adopted, with the By -Laws at-
<br />tached to and made a part of this Resolution. Motion
<br />was u animously carried.
<br />i. NAHRO Conference: Authorization was requested NAHRO CONFERENCE,
<br />for rstaff member, Mr. L. Glenn Barbe, to attend the KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI,
<br />NAHRO Conference, in Kansas City, Missouri, on Monday, OCTOBER 4, 1971
