Hammerschmidt, Commission Legal Counsel, re- <br />quested Commission approval.of this Contract., subject to. <br />Commission Legal Counsel approval, and the President and <br />Secretary be authorized to sign.` <br />Mr. W ggins moved for motion to the above, seconded by <br />Mr. C enney, and unanimously carried. <br />7, PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Business Relocation,. R -66: Mr. Paul E. Becher <br />Commercial Relocation'Director, advised in his written <br />report before the Commission for approval today are two <br />claims for moving expenses,.totalling $5,183.00, one claim <br />ford rect loss of property in amount of $126.70, and two <br />Small Business Displacement Payments, totalling $5,000.00. <br />The t tal of all claims -is, $109309_.70. <br />There are approximately seventeen business concerns who. <br />have completed their move, but have not yet filed a final'. <br />relocation claim. Staff estimates that about ten more <br />busin sses will relocate during the month of September. <br />Downtown Rehabilitation Report, R-66: Mr. <br />Edwin Bauer, Downtown Rehabilitation Supervisor, was <br />intro uced to the Commission:by Mr. Ashenf elter. <br />Mr. Bauer submitted a written report stating a master <br />file ias been started listing all buildings, owners, <br />tenants and-businesses within the Downtown Rehabilitation <br />Area--particularly stores directly situated on the proposed <br />Downtown Mall. Inspection reports have been formulated <br />listing all pertinent information regarding structural and <br />mechanical building conditions and services, past improve- <br />ments or lack of them, exterior and interior data, and <br />physical properties of each space _visited. <br />Upon complete analysis and review by the Depattment, re- <br />commendations will be made regarding site improvements as. <br />it affects owner and tenant responsibilities and involve- <br />ment. To date, ten tenant spaces have been visited; six <br />buildings have been inspected; and two new or rebuilt <br />buildings with work in progress have been reviewed. <br />BUSINESS RELOCATION, <br />R -66 <br />DOWNTOWN REHABILITATION, <br />R- 6,6 <br />C. Rehabilitation'Report, Site Office: Mr. Richard REHABILITATION REPORT, <br />A. Madison, Rehabilitation Director, submitted a written SITE; "OFFICE <br />report on the following: <br />R -57 Project• <br />One re- inspection was made on Parcel No. 20 -32, and 1) R -57 <br />a final inspection on Parcel No. 36 -10.
