Allen, Common Council Member, asked <br />what the delay is in getting the mall buildings re- <br />modeled and getting.tenants in now,,and why this has <br />not been done as a priority? "'If you push for the <br />renovation of the present buildings on the mall, some <br />of these people can go in now or when. they are re-,_.. <br />modeled. President Helmen said a lot of people <br />are reluctant to do anything until they see what will <br />be done. <br />Mr. Ashenfelter advised a staff member, Mr. Edwin <br />Bauer, has just been added to.head *up downtown'reha <br />bill ation activities <br />Mr. Becher advised getting satisfactory agreement be- <br />tweer the remaining property owners and.-the relocating <br />tena t has been the problem. <br />Mr. Wiggins moved for the approval.of the.above Com- <br />mercial Leases, on a month -to -month basis. Said motion <br />seco ded by Rev. Williams and unanimously carried <br />Mr. Fammerschmidt advised Dr. Rams was to supply a list <br />of brokers. Arrangements are being made with local real <br />estate people to get some direction.
