SECRETARY <br />Mr. C enney seconded the motion and was unanimously' <br />carri d by all Commissioners. <br />7. ROGRESS REPORTS <br />A. Community Development Associates: Mr. Greg. <br />Cook, Director of Renewal Management Systems, and <br />Mr. Ronald V. Adisano, Field Service Management <br />Director for Community Development Associates, gave <br />an ov ra-1 critique on the progress of the Downtown <br />Redevelopment Program. They, are the consultants <br />hired for the monthly computerized evaluations on <br />urban renewal progress, known as the Critical Path <br />Metho . <br />Mr. Cook stated "South 'Bend's., redevelopment progress <br />is go ng exceptionally well so far. Yaur critical <br />path alls on'rehabilitation activity., Rehabilita- <br />tion must get going and -this is now the critical <br />area.' The three main trouble areas are: <br />Lack of resources in money and places <br />for business. <br />CRITICAL PATH MANAGE- <br />MENT REPORT BY COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATES, <br />R-66 <br />Need to begin rehabilitation work in <br />the downtown area. <br />Some minor delays in Phase I construe <br />tion. <br />Mrs. urtis, Secretary of the South Bend Redevelop- <br />ment rustees, asked Mr: Cook if they advise how to <br />overc )me obstacles or just analyze? Mr. Cook said <br />they an advise what others did on similar problems, <br />and they can help the staff, but it is up to the, <br />staff and the information is as good as the staff. <br />Business Relocation, R -66: Mr. Paul E. BUSINESS.RELO,CATIONS <br />Becher, Commercial Relocation Director, submitted <br />a wri ten report stating be'fore''the Commission today <br />for a proval are three claims for moving expenses which <br />total $7,115.26, one direct loss of property claim for <br />$604.)2, and two Small Business Displacement Payments <br />for $ ,500.00 each. The grand total is $12,720.18. <br />Rehabilitation Report, R -57: Mr. Richard A.
