Project Management <br />An enterprise system implementation is a complex endeavor that presents a <br />variety of technical and organizational challenges that must be identified, <br />analyzed, understood, and continually managed in order to ensure a <br />4P <br />successful outcome. Woolpert's Project Management approach provides for <br />the resources and tools needed to successfully manage the project through <br />all phases/processes, including: <br />• Initiation: project authorizations and expectations. <br />• Planning: project definitions, objectives, deliverables, analysis of <br />alternatives. <br />• Execution: coordination of resources, quality management, product Figure 2 - Project Life -Cycle Process Groups <br />and service delivery. <br />• Monitoring and Controlling: monitoring and measuring to identify variances and initiate corrective actions. <br />• Close -Out: acceptance of project deliverables and results, <br />To fulfill each of these objectives, Woolpert will employ the project management tools described in the following sections: <br />Task PMA : Provide Written Notice to Proceed (Client Owned Task) <br />Upon agreement on scope, schedule, budget and contract execution, the client Project Manager shall deliver to the Woolpert <br />Project Manager notice to proceed in writing. <br />Woolpert Deliverables <br />• N/A <br />Assumptions <br />• N/A <br />Client Responsibilities <br />• Client Project Manager to submit written notice to proceed to Woolpert Project Manager via email <br />Task PM.2: Project Kick -Off Meeting <br />As soon as is reasonably feasible, following receipt of the Written Notice to Proceed, Woolpert's project manager will work with the <br />Client's project manager to schedule a Project Kick -Off Meeting. This meeting will be facilitated on -site at the Client's facilities for <br />the purpose of: 1) establishing the necessary project management protocols to be adhered to by all stakeholders, 2) reviewing the <br />Client's implementation goals and objectives with all team members, 3) identifying any Client -owned source documentation <br />necessary to support the project, 4) identifying all critical path schedule milestones, and 5) addressing any outstanding scope or <br />schedule questions that Client stakeholders may have. Development of the kick-off meeting agenda shall be the joint responsibility <br />of the Woolpert's and Client project managers. <br />Woolpert Deliverables <br />• Woolpert Project Manager will create and submit kick-off meeting agenda to the Client Project Manager <br />• Woolpert Project Manager to facilitate project kick-off meeting for up to two (2) hours in duration <br />Assumptions <br />SOUTH BEND, IN - BUSINESS LICENSING, PLL IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES I SCOPE OF WORK <br />
