NEWIBUSINESS (Cont'd <br />property and have agreed to this demolition.: The.bid <br />document are to be submitted to five firms, with a <br />bid open'ng date of June 2, 1971,.at 1:00 P.M., E.S.T. <br />On motio by Mr. Wiggins, seconded.by Mr. Chenney., the <br />letting f Demolition Contract No. 13, without adver- <br />tising, as authorized. Said motion was unanimously <br />carried. <br />d. emolition Contract No. 14: Authorization to <br />advertisa for Demolition Contract No 14, on Parcel No. <br />20` -10., w;s requested, subject to` receiving ' the Quit' <br />Claim Dead, from the Grand Trunk Western Railroad <br />Company based on a land survey.- This is the One Hour <br />Martiniz'ng building, located at the Northeast corner <br />of Weste n and Michigan, R -66. <br />On motio by Mr. Wiggins,,seconded by Rev. Williams, <br />advertis'ng was authorized for Demolition Contract No. <br />14, and Onanimously carried. <br />e. Change Order No. 3 to Contracts Cl, C2 and C3: <br />This request is for removing two additional trees' on <br />the east side of Prairie Avenue, at a cost of $100.00 <br />each, or an increase of $200,00.to the Contract. These <br />trees in erfere with the placing"of the new sidewalk. <br />The Chan e Order is with Chas. W. Cole & Son, and the <br />contract r is Rieth -Riley Construction Co., Inc. <br />On motioi by Mr.. Wiiggins, seconded.by Mr. Chenney, <br />Change 0-der No: 3 to Contracts Cl, C2 and "C3 for Site <br />Improvem nts, for an increase in the amount of $200.00, <br />was 'auth sized and unanimously carried. <br />f. Model Neighborhood Planning Agency Emergency <br />Repair Fund Contract: The Contract is between the <br />Model Neighborhood Housing Center and the Department of <br />Redevelopment for an emergency repair fund of $5,000 <br />maximum. When this amount is expended, another contract <br />would be entered into. This.:project is to eliminate or <br />temporarily resolve the problems in order to"continue <br />safe use age of the home. The,Departmen.t,of Redevelop- <br />ment shall be reimbursed on an actual cost basis plus <br />10% for overhead as determined by the time sheets from <br />the personnel involved in the work specified by the <br />contract Our staff will do the inspection and super- <br />vision o the work.
