Escrow Agreement: Mr. Hammerschmidt said in ESCROW'AGREEMENT DATED <br />acqui ition, we have deeds and titles and have Escrow 11 -2 -70 TERMINATED AND <br />Agreements with the National Bank entered into-1970. The -CANCELLED <br />deeds of the owners were put in escrow with the National <br />Bank- have partial interest on several of these parcels. <br />They re asking we terminate this escrow agreement as they <br />are all completed. A motion was requested terminating and <br />cancelling the escrow agreement dated November 2, 1970. <br />Mr. Wiggins made the motion to terminate said agreement, se- <br />condeJ by Rev. Williams and unanimously carried'. Mrs. Helmen <br />suggested we keep a complete s•et of memos to refer to them. <br />Mr. Wiggins suggested these be put together and made into a <br />perms ent record. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />. Downtown Ne otiations: Mr. Hubert,M. Weaver <br />advis d the total number of parcels to be acquired is <br />232, less 16 parcel's on which action has been deferred, <br />leavi g 216 parcels to be acquired: We have.124 signed <br />optio s; 42 properties in condemnation; or a total of <br />166. There is a balance of 50 parcels on which we are <br />negotiating. Several'were' approved today for condemna- <br />tion. Some have been held up because of re- appraisals, <br />outstanding term leases which were "not considered in <br />evaluation. This has been taken care of and will be <br />resol- ed quickly. Title has been 'taken to 101 parcles, <br />at a cost of $4,454,287.00. 124 options secured at a <br />cost of $5,377,344.00. Funds budgeted were $13,010,220.00; <br />parce s optioned to date- is'$5,377,344.0b, or-a balance'of <br />$75632,876.00. <br />. Business Relocation: Mr. Paul Becker advised <br />four relocation claims were approved for payment today <br />total ing $8,363.00. This includes one temporary on- <br />site move, paid in behalf of Cloud Brothers, Inc., in <br />the ariount of $6,980-.00, - which- Will be charged to <br />property management.
