The -CANCELLED deeds of the owners were put in escrow with the National Bank- have partial interest on several of these parcels. They re asking we terminate this escrow agreement as they are all completed. A motion was requested terminating and cancelling the escrow agreement dated November 2, 1970. Mr. Wiggins made the motion to terminate said agreement, se- condeJ by Rev. Williams and unanimously carried'. Mrs. Helmen suggested we keep a complete s•et of memos to refer to them. There is a balance of 50 parcels on which we are negotiating. Several'were' approved today for condemna- tion. Some have been held up because of re- appraisals, outstanding term leases which were "not considered in evaluation. This has been taken care of and will be resol- ed quickly. Title has been 'taken to 101 parcles, at a cost of $4,454,287.00. 124 options secured at a cost of $5,377,344.00. Funds budgeted were $13,010,220.00; parce s optioned to date- is'$5,377,344.0b, or-a balance'of $75632,876.00. . Business Relocation: Mr. Paul Becker advised four relocation claims were approved for payment today total ing $8,363.00. This includes one temporary on- site move, paid in behalf of Cloud Brothers, Inc., in the ariount of $6,980-.00, - which- Will be charged to property management. One Small Business Displacement payment in the amount of $2,500 is being paid. Since the last Commission meeting, three relocation claims have been transmitted to the _Chicago.HUD office for prior concurrence- over $10,000 in each case There are approximately 10 business concerns who compl ted their moves and have claims in process at this �ime.
