10. NEWIBUSINESS (Cont'd <br />n. Commission Legal Counsel Approval: Mr. <br />Helmen moved that,our Commission Legal Counsel, <br />Mr. Bruce C. Hammerschmidt, see these leases prior. <br />to Commission meetings for approval Said motion <br />was seconded and unanimously carried by.all Com- <br />missioners. <br />o. Lease -Back Proposal: The Chair requested <br />approval of a lease -back proposal on.the "Baer" <br />property, specifying our rights and ability to <br />terminate upon needing the property, and per our <br />Legal Counsel we are fully protected. Termination <br />is subject to 60 -day notice. Said property is <br />Parcel Nos. 20 -7, 20 -11, 20- 12.and all of 20 -1 <br />except the Copp Music Store. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded,by Rev._ <br />Williams to approve the lease -back arrangement <br />in order to conclude the sale of the property. <br />Said motion was unanimously carried.. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />. a. Downtown Negotiations: Mr. Hubert M. Weaver <br />said that, to date, we have 89 options signed, which <br />does not include the Granada Theater, for a dollar <br />amount of $3,528,257.00. We have,acquired title to <br />67 of these, for a total of $2,560,769.00. In the <br />post office area, we have Parcel Nos. 24 -3, 24 -4 and <br />24 -5, which are Charles Hahn's properties., with con - <br />demnation filed. He. <br />said some of the responses have been good and some <br />are bad and these will be evaluated in the relocation <br />report. <br />Mr. Wiggins asked if this is primarily to close out <br />the R -56 project, and Rev.
