6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont'd <br />j. AHRO Worksho Authorization was requested . NAHRO WORKSHOP, <br />for a stiff member to attend this Workshop scheduled INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, <br />for September 21 and 22, 1970, in Indianapolis, IND.' SEPTEMBER 21 & 22, 1970 <br />Mr. Barbe advised this is primarily on fiscal manage- <br />ment, accounting and budgets. As he will not be able <br />to atten he recommended Mrs. Dorothy Z. Deane be <br />authorized. <br />On motioq <br />by Mr. Wiggins, <br />seconded by Rev. Williams, <br />Mrs. Dea <br />a was authorized <br />to attend. Said motion was <br />unanimou <br />ly carried. <br />k. <br />3onds for Central <br />Downtown Project: The <br />PRELIMINARY WORK <br />Chair re <br />uested a motion <br />be made and passed to author- <br />AUTHORIZED FOR BONDS, <br />ize the <br />epartment staff <br />and our Commission Legal <br />CENTRAL DOWNTOWN URBAN <br />Counsel, <br />Mr. Bruce C. Hammerschmidt to begin pre- <br />RENEWAL PROJECT, R -66 <br />liminary[ work on bonds for the Central Downtown Urban <br />Renewal Project, R -66. <br />On motion by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Helmen, <br />the preliminary work was authorized. Motion was <br />unanimously carried. <br />1. iousing Clinic: The Cha_i'r recommended author- <br />ization e given "to establish a Hpusing Clinic at 410 <br />L.W.E., wned by the Department "of Redevelopment, to <br />include itilities (electric, gas, water and heat), <br />and what aver other incidental expenses are necessary <br />for the stablishment of a clinic. The oepration is <br />to be br ught to this Commission for approval. Rev. <br />Kirk has advised that he can handle this with his <br />present taff. <br />Motion w4s made for the above authorization, seconded <br />by Mr.He men, and unanimously carried. <br />HOUSING CLINIC AUTHORIZED <br />.,AT' 4101; L,.
