6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont'd <br />Liberty Street, in the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal <br />Project, R -57. This is a vacant parcel of land <br />purchased for a parking lot. <br />On mot on by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, . <br />the above request was approved:and carried unani- <br />mously. <br />e. HUD Workshop: Mr. Ebel requested Commission <br />concurrence in staff member attending HUD Workshop <br />on new regulations affecting rehabilitation and <br />financ in Center Line, Michigan, on May 19, 1970. <br />A 'pho e call was received from HUD, in Chicago, on <br />May 18;h, requesting one of our rehabilitation <br />offices be sent to the Workshop Session to discuss <br />new re ulations, on May 19th Mr. Ebel stated he <br />author zed Mr. Richard Madison, a Financial Advisor, <br />to attend. As it is standard Commission policy to <br />have a l out -of -town trips, other than Chicago, <br />authorized, he is requesting concurrence for the <br />trip. The total cost was $43.00. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney, <br />the Workshop Session was authorized, in the amount <br />of $43100, and approved unanimously. <br />f. Resolution Nos. 296 and 297: Authorization <br />was requested to mail 10 -day notices of condemnation <br />for the following parcels, located in the LaSalle <br />Park Urban Renewal Project, R -57. The owners are re-- <br />questi g we go to condemnation to settle titles, etc., <br />for ow ership and are covered by the following resolu- <br />tions: <br />Resolution No. 296: Parcel No. 40 -13, <br />325 South Dundee Street <br />Resolution No. 296: Parcel No. 13 -6, <br />122 South Kentucky Street <br />On mot on by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Rev.
