<br />c. City -Wide Relocation: Rev. Kirk stated
<br />four families have been successfully relocated;,
<br />three into public housing. Better relationship
<br />has resulted in all phases, of relocation and he,
<br />said they are moving successfully, and are very,.
<br />well pleased.

<br />ER SESSION;
<br />Mr. Helmen requested the Redevelopment staff, in
<br />making their reports,,in the Commission meetings,
<br />to please identify the projects, by name;and the
<br />number of the project,; where applicable, ,to clarify ,
<br />the projects for the audience wh,o,may not.be familiar
<br />with the projects and be able to tie the information
<br />in with a specific project.
<br />Miss Carolyn J. Woolridge, Associate Director for
<br />Programs, with the Urban League of South Bend and
<br />St. Joseph County, Inc., expressed her appreciation
<br />on behalf of,the Urban League and on. behalf of.La -,
<br />Salle,Park,residents, and to thank the Commissioners:
<br />and the Department of Redevelopment in permitting
<br />the use of the unbuildable land for the Garden and
<br />Beautification Project.
<br />Mr. Wiggins inquired of Miss Woolridge if play lots
<br />were contemplated to be set up, in the, LaSal I e. Park
<br />area as previously? Miss Woolr %dge said,she was,
<br />not aware of any plans . on this, but, would check.
<br />The play tot lots were a part of a lease I agreement,
<br />with A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc., for three locations on
<br />South Iowa Street, South Camden Street and South
<br />Falcon Street, for.$10.00 per year. These lots,
<br />were abandoned the following..year,..
<br />Mr. James F. Peacock raised a question, as he said
<br />he has a personal interest. ,The, planning of the
<br />downtown includes th.e Cultural,Center along the
<br />river and bridge. The C.ul.tural:Center,.Histo:rical
<br />Society, etc.; are shown on the plan. He said the
<br />question came up, at the moment, how long is this
<br />prop rty going to be held for this purpose, or if
