Properties are being rehabilitated, financed by Section <br />312.10 - interest loans. On motion by Mr. Kompar, se- <br />conded by Mr. Chenney, these above - mentioned rehabili- <br />tation grants were approved. <br />i. <br />Options: These options involve two areas: OPTIONS APPROVED: <br />INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION <br />a. Parcel #3 -7, Industrial Expansion Project, PROJECT, R -56; <br />R -56. LASALLE PARK URBAN <br />b. Parcel #46 -17, LaSalle Park Urban Renewal RENEWAL PROJECT, R -57 <br />Project, R -57. <br />On moti n by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Kompar, the <br />options to purchase the above- listed parcels were ap- <br />proved. <br />j. Disposition Bid: Anderson Jones, an electri- <br />cal contractor, proposed to acquire four parcels, as <br />follows: #15 -16, #15 -17, #16 -20 and #16 -21, located <br />in the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal Project, R -57. On <br />motion by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Kompar, the Com- <br />mission approved the sale of subject lots, subject to <br />legal counsel's approval. <br />Mr. Bel ' inger apprised the Commission that parcels sold <br />to date in LaSalle Park are for single family develop- <br />ment, and that this approval sale represents 80% of the <br />land currently available for sale. The sale of land <br />has moved relatively well in LaSalle Park and the Re- <br />development Staff will have another disposition offer, <br />hopeful y by the end of the year. <br />k. Authorization to attend Meeting on November <br />14 and 15, 1968 Legislative Committee of IAHRO to <br />propose new state legislation that would conform to <br />the new Federal Housing Bill: This meeting is to be <br />held in Indianapolis and the request is to send ap- <br />propriate staff members, subject to the Director's <br />authorization. Our legal counsel, Mr. Bruce Hammer - <br />schmidt, will make every effort to attend one of the <br />days. 1he "ayes" were unanimous for authorization to <br />send the staff members authorized, plus our legal <br />counsel, to- Indianapolis, to attend the Indiana As- <br />sociate n of Housing Redevelopment Officials meeting, <br />on Nove er 14 and 15, 1968. <br />6. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />a. Relocation Progress Report, in LaSalle Park <br />Urban Renewal Project, R -57: Mr. Oliver J. Scott gave <br />a report on the relocation of the 180 families and indi- <br />viduals in the LaSalle Park Project. 128 families and <br />20 individuals have been relocated 19 families and /or <br />individuals moved in advance of relocation activities, <br />and we a e trying to find out where they have moved to. <br />8 <br />DISPOSITION BIDS <br />APPROVED, LASALLE <br />PARK URBAN RENEWAL <br />PROJECT, R -57 <br />IAHRO MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 14 & 15 <br />1968 <br />RELOCATION REPORT, <br />LASALLE PARK URBAN <br />RENEWAL PROJECT, <br />R -57 <br />
