The Commission was apprised this work is not
a duplication. The Commission has designated Clyde E.
William & Associates, Inc., as the consultant engineer
to the Commission for the actual construction drawings
and are an appropriate group to do this design study.
The contract cost will be based on actual time, but not
to exceed $5,000.00-.
The question was raised as to what will happen if the
Downtowk project does not go through. President Wig-
gins stated it is his opinion the Commission would
pay for this work out of other funds, and this is all
subject to Federal approval. He stated the Commission
does not believe this project will be stopped because
of this suit and we are going to proceed as long as
we can as if the suit had not been filed. However,
if it is not settled rather quickly, it can have a
deterreilt effect by slowing the project down. He con-
cluded that there is a risk involved at this time. On
motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Helmen, this con-
tract was approved, with the maximum amount being $5,000.00.
h.
cover P
Renewal
75 reha
Two Rehabilitation Grants: These grants
ircels #30 -18 and #31 -18, in the LaSalle Urban
Project, R -57.
